Saturday Spotlight
Hi everyone! I was so flattered when recently asked to be featured on ScrappyZeni's blog during Saturday Spotlight! What an honor to be recognized by such a sweet and talented girl :) I made a card for the occasion. I used a Kraftin'Kimmie stamp- 'Joanie' colored with Copics on Sei Granny's Kitchen paper and SU cardstock. Used my BowEasy for the bow and it truly is easy to make with that gadget!
This shot you can see the 'bling' better. I used a golden copper sparkle gelly pen in her hair and embossed my beaded oval spellbinder with glitter powder- SU Iridescent Ice. I really appreciate the exposure Zeni is giving my blog being featured! I just started this not long ago and hope to post often! I will be in my first blog hop on August 22nd. A birthday themed hop called 29 again? You'll want to stop back for that! Lots of yummy blog candy to be given away :) Thanks everyone for checking out my blog and especially Zeni!!!

Grammy's birthday card
I made this for my grandmother's birthday. It was my first attempt at an easel card.
Embossed Bazzill paper with a Stampin Up folder. Flowers were cut from two different DCWV stacks. Used an SU border punch and some textured ric-rac.
The inside of the card. Embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Happy Birthday was cut on my Cricut from my Gypsy Wanderings cart. Both layers are on DCWV papers. Used my Making Memories magnetic stamp for our names.
Top view when opened as an easel.
I used a House Mouse stamp inked in Adirondack Mushroom and touched up a bit with Copics and highlighted with gelly pens. Mounted on an embossed Nestabilitie die.
This is the bottom of the card when standing as the easel.
This stamp amused me to no end so I had to have it :)

Tilda
This card I just made for no particular reason :)
Tilda from Magnolia Stamps was colored with my Copics and highlighted with glitter gelly pens. Mounted on embossed Nestabilities. Pattern paper is DCWV Other papers are embossed with Stampin Up folders. Flowers are embossed in gold and ribbon is from my stash.
Just a different view. I need to figure out my Photoshop so I can crop these bad backgrounds out!

Julie's baby shower card
Very excited about this card. 1. It was my first attempt at a tri-fold card. 2. I won the first challenge I ever entered with it :)
The giraffe I cut off the Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge. Behind it is two embossed, layered Nestabilities, some Twinery twine, and paper from my stash.
These onesies are from a Stampin Up set. Colored with Copics and threaded on a twine 'clothesline'.
Card closed. The ducks and sentiment are Stampin Up.
Baby was cut from a Cuttlebug alphabet, sprayed with homemade glimmer mist, then glued to Spellbinders (Labels one) that was embossed with a Stampin Up folder.
I embossed this vellum envelope with a Stampin Up folder and colored it with Copics and nice yellow Stickle flower dots.

Father's Day Cards
I am catching up on posting some older projects since I recently started this blog. These are 2 Father's Day cards made for my father and my husband. My little ones made cards for Daddy but also love all my border cutting scissors so basically shredded the cards they made him :)
This was for my husband who had been working around the house. Letters cut on the Cricut with Plantin Schoolbook. Tools stamped with a Fiskars stamp (I think) and colored with Copics and covered in Glossy Accents.
This card I made for my father who enjoys fishing. The stamps are all Stampin Up colored with Copics. Cut out with scalloped squares Nestabilities. Happy Father's Day was stamped and embossed with a silver. Fish covered in glossy accents. Back layers were embossed with Stampin Up folders and sprayed with homemade glimmer mist.
