Welcome to Lynne's Mad Hatter 60th Birthday Tea Party Blog Hop --- don't be late for this very important date and just to be sure you're not late, we're serving tea for not one day but two!! Watch out for rabbit holes, and those drink me and eat me potions as you must do them in moderation. You'll never know what you will see beyond the looking glass --- sew, sit down a spell and enjoy the talented ladies as we hop along in Wonderland. Warning, watch out for the Queen of Hearts as she is losing in the game of croquet and its off with your heads!!!!!

Rather than cake, crumpetts, tarts and cookies, we have blog candy and I mean some sweet treats that are being offered by our great sponsors:
Pat Catan's has donated a $25 gift card for shopping at their store, if there isn't a Pat Catan's in your area, we can transfer that out for you  Karber Digital Images at http://www.karberdigital.com/ has offered 2 digital designs of the winner's choice Digi My World at http://digimyworld.com/shop/ has offered a $10 gift card  SVG Attic at http://www.svgattic.com/ has offered a $20 gift certificate PSA Stamps at www.psastamps.com.blogspot.com has offered a 1 stamper, 2 Peel & Stick packs of winner's choice. To be eligible by posting you must comment and post on each stop of our tea party along the way --- now remember to hold your pinky out when drinking your tea --- will that be 1 lump or 2?

You should have arrived here from Katie but if you stopped at my blog to just visit today, I don't want you to miss a single thing along the way and you need to start at the beginning which is two hares by the Cheshire cat who is grinning at you and that darn caterpiller smoking her pipe at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/!!!

For my project I made an Alice In Wonderland mini album. I haven't put the finishing touches on yet because I'm not sure exactly what I am putting in it. I cut the album from a Cricut file I made on my Gypsy and all the paper is DCWV from the Dazzle Stack. All cuts are from my Cricut Disney Classics cartridge.
This fabulous digi image is Mad Hatter by Heather Valentin available from Scrapbook Stamp Society  I colored her with Prismacolor Premiere Pencils blended with odorless mineral spirits.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed your tea and crumpets and your next stop is not Twiddledee and Twiddledum but Erin

You can start at Lynne's blog and check out day 1 of this awesome two day hop! Happy Birthday Lynne~Hope it was wonderful and thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you!

Fall layout

This is my Fall layout for my PaperHoarders design team. Our challenge is to use Fall colors. I used paper from an older DCWV Autumn stack. I cut the lettering on my Cricut with Plantin Schoolbook and sponged it in gold and embossed it. I sponged the edges of the paper in gold lightly. I think I will put pictures of my girls at the pumpkin patch on this layout.

1st Day of School

I made this layout for the PaperHoarders Design Team I am on. It is my twins' first day of PreK. I will add a picture of each of them in the circles of the word School and also in the 3 mats below. The alphabet tree paper has not been secured at the top so I can tuck other notes in. I used DCWV Grade School stack and Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge. I journaled on regular notebook paper about how much they enjoyed their first day. They were so tired out they fell asleep on the bus ride home!

Grammy's birthday card

I made this for my grandmother's birthday. It was my first attempt at an easel card.
Embossed Bazzill paper with a Stampin Up folder. Flowers were cut from two different DCWV stacks. Used an SU border punch and some textured ric-rac.
The inside of the card. Embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Happy Birthday was cut on my Cricut from my Gypsy Wanderings cart. Both layers are on DCWV papers. Used my Making Memories magnetic stamp for our names.
Top view when opened as an easel.
I used a House Mouse stamp inked in Adirondack Mushroom and touched up a bit with Copics and highlighted with gelly pens. Mounted on an embossed Nestabilitie die.
This is the bottom of the card when standing as the easel.
This stamp amused me to no end so I had to have it :)

Tilda

This card I just made for no particular reason :)
Tilda from Magnolia Stamps was colored with my Copics and highlighted with glitter gelly pens. Mounted on embossed Nestabilities. Pattern paper is DCWV Other papers are embossed with Stampin Up folders. Flowers are embossed in gold and ribbon is from my stash.
Just a different view. I need to figure out my Photoshop so I can crop these bad backgrounds out!

Aunt Debby's Birthday Card

I made this today for my Aunt's birthday. I embossed the background with a Stampin Up stamp and the paper I am pretty sure is from a DCWV stack. Used a border punch for the bottom strip and embossed in SU iridescent powder.
The inside of the card stamped with an SU set and embossed in gold. Colored with Copics and light little Stickle dots in the flowers.

Craft Hauls :)

I have some pics of a recent craft haul for those who appreciate and delight in such lovely things!

Joann's had a 20% off regular and sale merchandise so I went to work on the clearance section. Huge 12x24 adhesive backed glitter DCWV stacks, more DCWV stacks (I LOVE DCWV), envelopes, embossing markers, The spellbinder dies are getting sold on ebay because I already have them but got them so cheap I'll make enough on them to pay for most of the rest of my goodies :)

More Joann's-stickers, embellishments, flowers
brads, ribbon, bling, stacks, the cashier threw the one DCWV pet mat stack in for free since it had no cover to scan.
Big Lots 40% off- Boatload of brads, thickers, stamps, vellum quotes, Cricut cart for $18 :)
More Big Lots- Awesome paper stack and a huge pack of Heidi Grace alphabet chipboard for $2.80!!!
